A while ago you were asking for opinions on NAET. At that time I was unsure of its value but no longer.

I have struggled with food intolerances for years and have tried food rotation, probiotics, VEGA testing, different meats from Barrow Boar, colonic irrigation, digestive enzymes, NHS allergists, and everything I could find that might help. On John Scott's suggestion I found I could dowse the food and now my pendulum is my trusty friend.

I read about NAET in Foods Matter and found my nearest practitioner on the internet, Helen Bowman in Huggate in East Yorkshire. She is the chief practitioner in England. NAET works! I have no doubt at all. It has not been an overnight cure for me. It has required persistence but at last I am not isolated by food restrictions and I feel well. For me Helen has been a miracle worker.

It is through Foods Matter that I came upon NAET then Helen so my heartful thanks.

For me NAET has been very cost effective!

I was born in 1935, and when I was about 3,5 years old I remember my dad giving me a bit of his breakfast- it was a spoonful of egg. I instantly felt sick, and had severe abdominal pains. My mother soon realized that I was intolerant to egg and related products, as I instantly fell sick with abdominal cramps, vomiting and shortness of breath after eating dishes with chicken. At the age of about 12 to 14 years, strong bronchial asthma was added to the list of allergic reactions. A 3-month treatment stint on the North Sea island of Norderney brought no improvement, and an attempt at desensitization in Augsburg Hospital at the age of 35 years failed as well.

The only solution for my mother at the time, and later for my wife was complete "egg-abstinence". Medical solutions didn't help- apart from the medication I used for asthma attacks (cortisone, theophylline).

At the age of 45, I attended a seminar in Munich and on my way home, I had a piece of cake at the central station. I noticed too late that the cake contained some egg. On the train home I got a severe asthma attack and was only just able to get myself safely to the hospital. The doctor there was of the opinion that this really needed to be fixed- before it would kill me.

In 2003 I met medical practitioner Dr. Andrea Schröpel in her neurobiological practice in Nördlingen. She applied NAET acupressure and cured the egg allergy and my bronchial asthma within a short period of time.

Dr. Schröpel has given me my life back, and for this I'm eternally grateful to her.

Best regards Toni
